Candidate Profile
The Infopia Web Services Integration Engineer is responsible for implementing integration solutions with Infopia clients and partners. This includes design, analysis, and most importantly, the execution and delivery of a working solution.
The Web Services Integration Engineer is also responsible for analyzing interface requirements based on business needs to deliver any necessary and supporting documentation. S/he will partner with internal teams to clarify and finalize project needs, playing the critical role of ensuring that appropriate resources are engaged in the implementation of a solution.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Web Services, XML and other integrations with APIs which will enable him/her to easily integrate clients to our web services. Correspondingly, it is desired that s/he be able to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges-with the ability to build compelling value propositions.
Required Experience/Skills
- Experience in designing, building, and deploying integrations
- Strong familiarity with integration tools and common coding languages
- Understanding of core technical standards, such as XML, Web Services (SOAP, REST)
- Ability to develop and drive robust integrations through the full development lifecycle (analysis (data mapping), design, coding, testing, maintenance)
- Understanding of core integration concepts and best practices, such as timing of procedures, error handling, and batching for scalability
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation and negotiation).
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of e-commerce concepts
- Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems
- Knowledge of web services competitive landscape

Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary, full benefit package and stock option plan based on experience.
